the Meal of your Day
Food comes under the most essential
thing a human needs to survive.Without it we would die in just few days or
months. When we eat food, we might compliment for the cook and we have to be but
have you ever thought who grows that food, no one right. Farmers are the brave
community that grow food for us, but we never thank them for their sacrifice. Today
we hear that lots of farmers commits suicide but why? May be some farmer's crop
destroy because of weather and other climate issues (yes we can’t do anything
for that but may be our government can do something for them by compensating
them). But one reason is also that we do not give them the proper price for
their crop.
Few people will ask here that price of
vegetables and cereals is increasing so the farmers are getting good amount, but
that’s not the truth the middle men/brokers and big corporate is taking advantage
somewhere between.
Farmers for Us
Farmers matters a lot for the world,
without them the life is close to impossible. Have you ever thought to be hungry
for two days, no you can’t you need something to eat. Today when you eat your
food,thank to farmers who gave you that, he works so hard barefooted under
the sunlight just for us. It’s okay to give the good price for their hard work
but with that we need to respect them and their sentiments.
Big corporate
families are taking the advantage from poor and illiterate farmers, by signing
contract with them, government is not even taking proper care of poor farmers. Good
rules and regulations and new reforms must be introduced to protect the farmers community. Today the situation is that much worse that no farmer wants to see his
daughter and son to become farmer. All want to see their children to be
employee in big corporates and that mindset is lacking the traditional farming
business.
We need to change the mentality of
farmer by providing them all the necessary things they want in life so they do not have to sellto big corporate and do not stop farming. It’s a fact
that everyone needs a comfortable life but nobody cares about who is putting
efforts in making that life comfortable. Similar is the case with food also, everyone needs tasty food but
does anyone care from where it is coming and after how much efforts that food is coming in plate.
The Basic Philosophy for Agriculture
In ancient time,everyone used to do
farming for their own food, but with the change in time human felt to work in
some other field as well. So few left farming and few made it business,
today we know all the vegetables and crops have very harmful and toxic chemicals in it. Big corporate are using the agriculture as a business not in a devotion
to provide food but farmers are not like that they used to grow crop to satisfy
hunger.
So what are the steps which can help in
saving the essentials commodity that is Farmers? Lots of steps can help like

Giving the proper price
for their crops

If any farmer's crop is destroyed because of climatic conditions then compensation must be given
- ·
We can give loans to farmers on less interest.
- ·
The water, irrigation
and electricity can be provide on subsidised rates to farmers
- ·
Good seeds, fertilizers
and other necessary items can be given on subsidy for farmers.

Warehouse facilities at
every local place can be provided at cheap rates so during harvesting season
they don’t need to rush to sell their crop in market.

Last but not the least,
we need to respect the farmers and have to cherish them with love.
All the above mentioned points if followed in a manner then it can be possible that farmers will work more efficiently and
will not think to quit farming. From the big cities when we look at farmers
life we don’t care much about them but its high time to address their issues to so
an harmony can develop between other communities and farmers.
As there is famous saying ‘farmers don’t just work till the sun goes down, they work till the job gets done’ so we have to learn the patience and dedication from farmers as they grow the whole crop just from a little seed. Farmers are the founders of human civilization, so don’t forget them at any cost.
